Former US Marine and Republican commentator John Deaton claims Greenland is “super strategic” for the United States. US President Donald Trump has reignited the conversation around the US’s potential takeover of Greenland, saying in the current geopolitical climate, the Danish territory is a huge asset. “Trump isn’t the first president to want to acquire Greenland,” Mr Deaton told Sky News host James Morrow.
