Spiked Online Chief Political Reporter Brendan O’Neill says Reform UK leader Nigel Farage is being punished for representing the interests of ordinary people. “It’s open season on Nigel Farage and more importantly on what he is seen to represent, which is the populist desires of ordinary people,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News host Caleb Bond. “All those kinds of policies that ordinary people are keen on, but the political establishment isn’t, Farage represents those, and he’s being punished for it. “It’s a pretty sinister campaign.”
