Aiming to defuse a scandal over alleged secret donations, Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage has announced he’ll quit his seat in Clacton and then run in the same seat again. Mr Farage’s move may backfire as the major parties have described it as a stunt and have refused to take part. This has left Mr Farage to face one confirmed candidate, Count Binface. The by-election in Clacton is set to take place on August 13.
