‘Risky move’ by Coalition to look at modular reactors for data companies

Sky News host James Morrow says the Coalition is working on a plan to look at small modular reactors built by data companies to power their “energy-hungry” information plants. Mr Morrow said it’s a “risky move” which encourages the same “scare campaign” Labor ran last time. “AI is not the only front of the nuclear arena where Australia is in danger of being left behind. “Last week, we saw the prime minister agree to a deal to allow Australian uranium to be sent to India. “I, and many others, asked the question last week, if nuclear energy is too expensive and too scary for Australia under Labor, why is it affordable and fine for India?”
