We are learning more this weekend as Houston-area leaders continue to provide new details on the ICE-related shooting death of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. According to our partners at FOX 26 Houston, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed last week that the ICE officers involved did not have body cameras on. This comes as the Houston Police Department reportedly sent letters to the FBI and DHS saying they would provide "all appropriate resources" to support their ongoing investigation. LiveNOW’s Shawna Khalafi is speaking with former DHS and White House official Andrea Flores as the local community in Houston continues to deal with the fallout from last week’s incident.
