Middle East latest: U.S. military launches new wave of strikes on Iran this weekend

We are learning more this weekend as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) says that they have completed additional strikes against Iran this week in response to Tehran's latest attack on a commercial vessel transiting the Strait of Hormuz. “U.S. forces hit approximately 140 Iranian military targets with precision munitions launched by land- and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels,” CENTCOM said in a statement this weekend.
