Reform UK Councillor Darren Grimes discusses the arrest of a suspect in the tragic murder of former Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe. “Police do have a man in custody … and the detectives say that they’re actually not looking for anybody else, but they’ve also said that there’s nothing at this stage to indicate a political motive or indeed a terrorist motive,” Mr Grimes told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “I have to admit to being a bit lost here. Why would someone 270 miles away travel to a specific property which had Anne’s name within the name of the property? “It doesn’t pass the smell test for me right now.”
