Newsweek Senior Editor-at-Large Josh Hammer says US President Donald Trump called a “premature” ceasefire with Iran on April 8. “When you have your foot on the throat of the opposition, you should go ahead and try to finish the job,” Mr Hammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “Not try to essentially beg for some sort of ceasefire. “The good news is that the United States is now going back again; we’ve been hitting them very hard over the past week.”
