As South Korea’s birthrate hit an all-time low, 10 men and 10 women — all single, in their 20s and 30s — gathered at a centuries-old Buddhist temple in the search for true love. The Korean Buddhist Foundation for Social Welfare launched its matchmaking program in 2023 — and it continues to grow traction.
