Episode four of House of the Dragon confirmed one thing to us beyond a shadow of a doubt; Ormund Hightower is the real threat to Rhaenyra’s rule, not Aegon, or Aemond or Alicent or Helaena or even Daeron, the prince he faked. Ormund’s got the intellect to play his enemies against each other and the temperament to see through plans lesser men might rethink, and so we were glad to see episode four focusing on him, although Lady Footly would say that we focused on him entirely too much.
