Sky News host Chris Kenny says Cricket Australia are “clearly ashamed” of their country as they plan not to play the national anthem at the Big Bash final on Australia Day. “If you can't sing your national anthem, then you can't be much of a country,” Mr Kenny said. “This nonsense needs to be dispensed with; we need to reclaim our national pride and our common sense. “No wonder One Nation is surging in the polls as a reaction against the established idiocy. “Cricket Australia ought to change its name; it's clearly ashamed of Australia. “Perhaps it should escape all the history wars and just call itself Cricket Gondwanaland.”
