Sky News host Rita Panahi says US President Donald Trump has backed Lindsey Graham's sister to temporarily fill the late senator's seat while South Carolina prepares for a contested race. “We spoke at length last night about the shocking passing of Senator Lindsey Graham, who was seeking another term at the midterms,” Ms Panahi said. “In a move that has surprised many, the late senator's sister, Darline Graham Nordone, will fill in for him on an interim basis. “This is unusual, but it's something that President Trump has backed, and she’s going to be serving in a caretaker role.”
