One of the most infamous dictators in history is Adolf Hitler. Talking about his life and rise to power is an important, if uncomfortable, part of history, and that is what we will be doing today in this educational video.   Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Austria. When he was three years old, he moved to Germany with his family. From an early age, Hitler showed an interest in art as well as German nationalism. Nationalism is an ideology that focuses on loyalty and devotion to a particular nation or country, putting it above individual or group interests.   In his teenage years, Hitler was rejected from arts school and lived in a homeless shelter for a while. Some historians hypothesize that this is the time when Hitler first cultivated his anti-Semitic views. Anti-Semitism is the hate, hostility, and prejudice against Jewish people. These views would become a driving force in his treatment of Jews once he came to power.   We hope you and your student(s) found value in this
