Man, I love Disney but no, we did not need a live-action Moana. Honestly, I had a bad feeling ever since I saw the trailer because neither did the CGI Hei Hei work for me, who by the way is my spirit animal, nor did the Kakamoras. Yet, I had to turn up and see how the whole thing pans out, and yes it follows the 2016 animated gem beat by beat. While that did attempt to give nostalgia a kick, I can’t understand the reason behind making a live-action because frankly the original Moana isn’t even that old! #Moana #MoanaLiveAction #Moana2026 #howfarillgo
