Sky News host James Morrow blasts New York mayor Zohran Mamdani over comments about rising rape statistics, arguing the explanation echoes attempts to downplay serious crime. “I had to watch this like five times to understand the implication of this; here he is talking about why it is that rape statistics, the crime stats, are up in New York on his watch,” Mr Morrow said. “So, it’s just a definition problem; we don’t actually have a problem; it sounds like a variation on the Whoopi Goldberg, ' Well, it wasn’t rape, rape thing.”
