​The Australian Columnist Tom Switzer says US President Donald Trump “knows” we are on the edge of an “economic precipice”. ​“In the negotiations between the Americans and the Iranians through the Omanis, there were three main goals…to get rid of their enrichment of uranium program, to get rid of their ballistic missile program, and end their ties to their militia proxies, " Mr Switzer told Sky News host Chris Kenny. ​“But what’s happened in the meantime is the Strait of Hormuz has become a problem ​“Trump wants to shut this thing down because he knows we are on the edge of an economic precipice.”
