The Australian Columnist Tom Switzer says US President Donald Trump’s “oxygen” is being taken up by the ongoing Strait of Hormuz dilemma. “In the negotiations between the Americans and the Iranians through the Omanis there were three main goals…to get rid of their enrichment of uranium program, to get rid of their ballistic missile program, and end their ties to their militia proxies,” Mr Switzer told Sky News host Chris Kenny. “But what’s happened in the meantime is that the Strait of Hormuz has become a problem. “This is what’s taking up all of Donald Trump’s oxygen. “He doesn't want to be the second coming of Herbert Hoover.”
