Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings warns that China will get all the wrong messages if US President Donald Trump accepts a stalemate with Iran. “It would be much worse than Afghanistan because Afghanistan wasn’t attempting to become a nuclear power,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host James Morrow. “If Trump moves away from this kind of accepting a stalemate … he’s really telling the world that America doesn’t have the sticking power to put with a determined smaller adversary, and China will take all the wrong messages from that.”
