New pipelines and diplomacy could weaken Iran’s grip on the Strait of Hormuz

Sky News Defence Analyst Peter Jennings claims options to weaken Iran’s hold on the Strait of Hormuz will emerge over the next few years. “In time, with pipelines and different regional diplomacy, there are options to see that oil and LNG move in different ways that will reduce Iran’s potential sort of lock hold over the Strait of Hormuz,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host James Morrow. “But not for five years … it’s going to take that long, at least, to kind of put that infrastructure in place.”
