The tenth and final goal of England’s remarkable match against France came from a brilliant individual action by Jude Bellingham. Ollie Watkins first battled Dayot Upamecano for possession in midfield, allowing England to launch a quick counter-attack. Bellingham drove directly towards goal with Maxence Lacroix standing between him and the penalty area. He carried the ball into the penalty area, beat the France defender and finished to complete an extraordinary 6-4 victory.
