Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was interrupted by a protester at the National Press Club on Thursday as he unveiled anti-corruption legislation targeting President Trump. "How can you talk about corruption when you back genocide?" the man said at the event hosted by Public Citizen, seemingly referring to the senator's support for Israel. "How dare you talk about corruption!" "Thank you for your diatribe," Sen. Schumer said. "The people didn't come to hear you." "It's amazing that you can show your genocidal face in public, Mr. Senator," the protester said as he was escorted from the room. "Shame on Public Citizen for not allowing questions to this genocidal maniac." #cspan #chuckschumer #protest #nationalpressclub
