Former US Marine and Republican commentator John Deaton outlines potential next steps for the US regarding Iran. “The United States and Israel were preparing to make the hardest attack against Iran, including attacking their energy infrastructure,” Mr Deaton told News24. “Iran has promised to retaliate, hitting the infrastructure of surrounding countries … at the same time, you have peace agreements talking. “It’s either going to have to be full-out escalation or the United States walks.”
