News24 host James Macpherson says the mass crossing of around 60,000 Moroccans into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta proves Europe's border crisis was entirely predictable. “By now you would have seen the extraordinary scenes from Ceuta, as tens of thousands of Moroccans poured across the border into the Spanish city,” Mr Macpherson said. “The Zombies in World War Z actually meet resistance. “Around 60,000 Moroccans flooded into Ceuta – a city whose permanent population is normally about 83,000. Imagine waking up Friday morning in a quiet coastal town of 83,000. And by Monday, it's effectively doubled in size due to illegal migrants. “None of what happened in Ceuta at the weekend should have been a surprise. Not to anyone.”
