Older Australians who had the audacity to buy investment properties. “According to Charlton, the great Australian crime wasn't government policy. It wasn't decades of restrictive planning laws. It wasn't failing to build enough homes. “It was apparently your mum and dad buying an investment property and hoping it would increase in value. “A Labor politician with a $42m property portfolio blaming mum and dad investors for the property crisis?”
