News24 host Rita Panahi discusses how the Beckham family feud first erupted following an article released by The Daily Mail. “The Daily Mail is saying the first signs of a fracture began in September 2021 when Brooklyn and Nicola went to the Met Ball in New York. Victoria and David didn't like Nicola's post about the ball on social media, and from that point the Beckhams appeared to withhold social media approval of the couple," Ms Panahi said. “They think they’re special or particularly talented, no, it’s because of who your parents are … there’s just this sense of entitlement they seem to have.”
