President Trump said Monday he was very disappointed in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and that she "folded like an umbrella," after the Justice Department dropped its case charging a former Olympian with vandalism of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. "Franky, I think she choked, because the judge was really vicious," the president said of Ms. Pirro. "Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department. And I guess she choked, I don't know what the hell happened." Last week, the Justice Department dismissed the felony charge on the former Olympian, linking the damage on the reflecting pool to flawed work by a contractor, rather than vandalism. On Monday, prosecutors also dropped three more misdemeanor cases related to the pool damage, further weakening the president's longstanding claims that the damage was the result of vandalism. Speaking in the Oval Office, President Trump said Ms. Pirro "made a mistake" on the case. "
