President Trump said talks with Iran are ongoing, even as tensions remain high amid the U.S. conflict with Iran on Monday. "For some reason, when they're talking, they don't like saying that they're talking," the president told reporters. "Even though we spent hours and hours together talking." Trump said the U.S. was prepared to carry out a major military strike on Sunday before holding off. "We were going to hit them very hard yesterday--harder than any attack since World War Two," he said. The president said the latest talks came at Iran's request and were backed by countries including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. "Many countries called--they all wanted to give this a last chance," Trump said. "This is the last chance for them to sign a good document." #cspan #iranwar #politics #straitofhormuz
