A mass funeral was held in Gaza Tuesday for 112 Palestinians killed in an Israeli airstrike nearly three years ago. Their remains were recovered over the weekend from rubble in Gaza City – with 157 bodies still missing. More than 300 people were killed on Nov. 22, 2023, in an attack on a residential block, just weeks into the war between Israel and Hamas kicked off. Thousands of people are still believed to be buried under the mass of rubble, with the conflict claiming the lives of more than 3,250 Palestinians and around 1,200 Israeli civilians.
