Thousands of people in British Columbia’s Okanagan region have fled because of explosive and extremely dangerous wildfires. As Angela Jung reports from Vernon, B.C., as many as 230 homes are believed to have been lost in the Bradley Creek fire. Tens of thousands of people are under evacuation orders in the area of Spokane, Wash., which is being ravaged by devastating wildfires. Heather Yourex-West is at the scene to report on the neighbourhoods that have been razed, the man arrested for allegedly starting one of the fires and how cooler weather is helping bring a brief reprieve.
