Liberal Senator Dave Sharma calls out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for skipping a key dinner honouring Australia’s security relationship with Japan to attend a Spotify event. “He should’ve been at that dinner,” Mr Sharma told News24 host Sharri Markson. “This is the 50th anniversary of a relationship with one of our most important, longstanding and valuable trade, commercial, strategic and defence partners. “It comes on the back of a pretty gratuitous insult he levelled at Japan’s Prime Minister not long ago.”
