Former New South Wales Labor treasurer Michael Costa states Labor is “flexing its muscles” after Tony Burke’s announcement of tougher migration targets was cancelled. “The policy direction is the right direction, but you've got a prime minister who was a keen supporter of Labor for refugees,” Mr Costa told News24 host Andrew Bolt. “The left is flexing its muscles, and I wouldnt be surprised if the prime minister’s behind it.”
