Musk gives SpaceX ambitious trajectory during earnings debut

In its first quarterly earnings report since going public, Elon Musk's SpaceX reported surging revenue and narrowing losses, though the company has yet to turn a profit. On Tuesday, the company announced that revenue nearly doubled from the same quarter a year ago to $7.8 billion, rising over analysts' expectations. The company also reported that they have spent $18.4 billion on capital investments during the quarter. During the earnings call, Elon Musk said SpaceX is focused on accomplishing "very big things."
