New York Post columnist Miranda Devine slams New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani, accusing him of prioritising "looking shiny" over delivering meaningful change to the city. “Why on earth Zohran Mamdani thinks that would work in New York, I don’t know, other than he’s all about the optics,” Ms Devine told News24 host James Morrow. “They’re all about making glib promises and looking shiny and making great videos and being semi-articulate … and they just are assuming that their followers are not going to want to bother themselves with the boring detail.”
