Spiked Online Editor Tom Slater details the plagiarism scandal involving Cambridge University professor Jason Arday, who has resigned while being investigated for plagiarism. “He has now stepped down after 100 passages in his PhD thesis were found to have either been lifted or very lightly changed from another student’s PhD thesis,” Mr Slater told News24 host Caleb Bond. “[A journalist] was contacted by police, having been accused of harassing Jasan Arday for sending him a list of questions. “It’s kind of amusing, absurd, but also sinister at the same time.”
