"I think when you actually meet with the survivors, the politics really start to fall away because they are real human beings who have suffered a grave miscarriage of justice," Rep. Krishnamoorthi said. Rep. Sessions said the investigation became "more of a political football" after Congress passed legislation shifting decisions to the Justice Department.
