Kamala Harris delivered a fiery speech in Louisiana, urging Democrats to fight back against Donald Trump and the Republican Party ahead of the US midterm elections. Harris warned that Democrats cannot keep waiting for Republicans to have an “epiphany” and do the right thing, in a pointed critique of Joe Biden's approach. She also called for a new kind of Democratic “ruthlessness” in confronting corruption, inequality and the concentration of political power. Harris attacked Trump over the economy, healthcare, tariffs, immigration and the Iran war, while urging Democrats to mobilise voters and win the midterms. ► Subscribe to The Economic Times for the latest video updates.
