While everybody these days talks about the Avengers or the Fantastic Four, my favourite superhero group of all time in Marvel Comics has been the X-Men. Maybe it was because, growing up, they felt the most relatable to me, as they too, just like me, were young adults trying to fit into a society while still discovering their true selves. I have always loved the variety of characters in the X-Men, and while most people only focus on the likes of Wolverine and Cyclops, they often ignore an Omega-level mutant who has been there with the team right from its inception in X-Men, issue no. 1, 1963, by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
