Former Labor Advisor Darrin Barnett warns housing affordability could become the Albanese Government’s crucial advantage with younger voters, despite Labor still trailing on support in the latest polling. “One Nation stays strong; they haven’t diminished. That’s not really surprising,” Mr Barnett told News24 host Paul Murray. “Voters under 30 are what delivered Albo his massive majority; they don’t pay huge attention to news channels and newspapers and other things, but if they see that housing is a little bit more affordable, that will be a real bonus for the government. “Housing remains probably the critical issue into the next election.”
