Apocalypse is one of the standout villains from the X-Men series. It is no surprise that no iteration or media, be it the comics, the cartoons, or the live-action films, have ignored the character. He has been well represented in every single one of them. I am not going to talk about the films because a handful of films running across a hundred minutes cannot follow the story too faithfully. But the comparison between comics and cartoons is more appropriate as cartoons can follow comics better due to having more flexibility with respect to time. Yet, changes are made. And these changes are often necessary.
