Former prime minister Scott Morrison says migration plays an “important role” in Australia’s future. Mr Morrison told News24 host Sharri Markson that migration has to be done “behind strong borders”. “And then you’ve got to have a migration program which runs to rules and is focused on one thing: your economy.”
