More crews have arrived in B.C.’s Okanagan region to help fight the Bald Range wildfire, which measures more than 18,000 hectares and is still burning out of control. Nearly 200 firefighters, with help from 14 helicopters and 150 structure protection personnel are working to battle the blaze, as investigators try to determine what started the fire. The B.C. Wildfire Service is reporting a chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday, saying more clouds in the forecast could keep fire activity less active. Summerland resident Craig Milton tragically lost his home, live concert venue and animal sanctuary in the fire. The animals fortunately survived. He is still trying to wrap his head around it all, reflecting on decades of memories and collections saying “it’s completely gone. We lost everything.” Kevin Pontius reports from West Kelowna.
