News24 Washington Correspondent Jonathan Kearsley says outgoing White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will be missed as she leaves on the cusp of the “final two years” that will shape US President Donald Trump’s legacy. “The big thing for me looking at this is the timing; you are just a matter of a couple of months out from arguably the most important off-year elections of all time,” Mr Kearsley told News24 host Peta Credlin. “That will shape the final two years of Donald Trump’s legacy as president 47. “She was the youngest ever White House Press Secretary … this is one of the most highly pressured PR jobs in the world, being the voice of the President of the United States of America.”
