News24 Contributor Joe Hildebrand argues wealthy eastern Sydney and North Shore suburbs must accept more housing density and migrants. “I think it is very important that the wealthier eastern and North Shore suburbs carry their fair share of the burden of increased density and increased immigration,” Mr Hildebrand told News24 host Paul Murray. “At the moment we all know what’s happening because places like Blacktown are meeting their targets and exceeding them sometimes … whereas somewhere like Mosman couldn’t even build the pathetic 400 or something. “That is patently unfair when you have the battlers of Western Sydney doing absolutely everything and copying much higher density.”
