Toronto officer shot during armed e-bike robbery arrest, police seek second suspect | FULL

At a press conference on Thursday, Toronto police said an officer was shot in the upper thigh while responding to an armed e-bike robbery early that morning. A 27-year-old suspect allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot the officer during the arrest before being taken into custody. Police said the suspect was out on conditions for previous weapons offences and wanted on warrants in Peel and Waterloo. The officer remains in hospital in stable condition, while a second suspect remains outstanding.
