A horse rescuer who helped bring livestock to safety during the Bald Range wildfire has been told he can no longer volunteer with a regional animal rescue organization. Kazimir Nowlin had been entering evacuation zones to rescue horses before sharing videos online showing destruction in the Faulder area. The Animal Lifeline Emergency Response Team says Nowlin broke protocols by entering restricted red zones and recording video, prompting a complaint from the RCMP. Rancher Carolyn Dobler says she is grateful to Nowlin and his team for rescuing her animals as many livestock remain unaccounted for. Angela Jung reports.
