Presumably the most famous Marvel property after the Avengers, the X-Men have ruled the superhero space for years now, and ironically, they are all about representing the woes of the marginalized and the discriminated. X-Men: The Animated Series was one of the best superhero cartoons ever made, and X-Men '97 is trying its best to live up to it. However, X-Men were ushered into the modern era thanks to the live-action movies.
