Indiana flooding: Trump approves disaster assistance, missing teen found dead

President Trump has approved federal disaster assistance for Indiana after days of severe weather and historic flooding. LiveNOW's Anna Marsick spoke with Delaware County, IN Sheriff Tony Skinner about the recovery efforts. MORE: Flash Flood Emergencies were issued during the week across east-central Indiana as torrential rainfall caused life-threatening flash flooding across the region. The flooding comes as severe storms stretch at least 250 miles long and 60 miles wide. According to the FOX Forecast Center, destructive storms that produced 90 to 100 mph winds moved across northern Indiana. Indiana Gov. Mike Braun held a news conference to assess damage from Tuesday’s severe storms and coordinate resources as widespread power outages, flooding and severe weather continue across the state.
