‘Ideological capture’: Biological definition of women should be restored in law

Women’s Forum Australia CEO Rachael Wong calls for biological sex to be restored as the basis of women’s legal protections. “I think restoring the biological definition of women and restoring very clear sex-based protections in the Act will make a difference,” Ms Wong told News24 host Jaimee Rogers. “At the moment there are protections for single sex sport, but they’re optional rather than mandatory. “Because of ideological capture, because of fear, sporting organisations have actually taken the self id route.”
