Women’s Forum Australia CEO Rachael Wong warns allowing transgender athletes into women’s sport threatens the safety and fairness that single-sex competition was created to protect. “Single sex sport exists for a reason … it’s because there are legitimate concerns around safety and fairness,” Ms Wong told News24 host Jaimee Rogers. “Males have physiological advantages when it comes to speed, strength, stamina and more, and those are not negated by a self-proclaimed gender Identity.”
