Georgetown Law Professor Gregory Shaffer says the Supreme Court has made a “clear ruling” that Trump’s emergency global tariffs were “unlawful” under the US Constitution. “It’s a clear ruling that the tariffs were unlawful under the US Constitution,” Mr Shaffer told Sky News Australia. “It came to that conclusion by interpretation of the statute, IEEPA, which had never been used to raise tariffs before.”
